 Uig Bay Violet Sunsetby phototia     
This picture was taken shortly before midsummer's night at Uig Bay, Isle of Skye (Scotland), at about 11.30pm. It was a beautiful calm evening and the sun had just about disappeared behind a mountain, but one could still see and feel its presence. There was a wild mixture of colours in the darkening sky: blue, yellow, orange, violet. The setting sun also still made the water of that peaceful little bay shine in different shades of deep blue and violet.
