    On a camping trip to the San Luis Reservoir, in the San Joaquin Valley, located in the California Central Valley, this shot was taken on the side of a trail. The bare trees were interesting and so was the broken down shack, and the water and hills behind. It was that pearly time of the evening, right before the full sunset

    On an end-of-summer camping trip in the San Joaquin Valley, at the San Luis Reservoir in Gustine, California, I took a walk in the early evening, right before sunset. This shot was taken across a field, looking out towards the water. The washed out green and brown is characteristic of the hills and wild grasses at this time of year in the California Central Valley

    I was in the San Joaquin Valley on a late summer camping trip at the San Luis Reservoir. I grabbed my camera in the early evening, right before sunset, and set out to get some sky shots. This photos shows the dry rolling hills of the California Central Valley, and a peek of the reservoir lake. The last vestiges of the orange sun stand in sharp contrast to the dark blue evening sky and the black hills
