    This was taken at about 5am in a place called Mandarmoni, West Bengal, India, an impoverished fishing village. During monsoon, when I had visited, the skies are at their very best. Mandarmoni has one of the widest beaches in the world

    This picture was taken in the historical Botanical Gardens, in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, just before sunset. The scene shows a thick patch of trees overlooking a pond with giant Amazonian lilypads. The light was exquisite around this time
